Adjusting Lock Screen Access?

I'm pretty sure that over the last day or so, I could ask Google assistant to turn my alarm off from the lock screen.. 

Now, when the screen is locked and ask Google assistant to turn off alarm it just says... 

"Sorry, can 't do that while the device is locked. To keep going, go ahead and unlock your device" 

Can someone explain a process to adjust access, so I can ask Google assistant to turn alarm off from the lock screen please😊 

The irony is that you can set up an alarm by asking the assistant on the lock screen, but not turn the dam thing off!

It's in your google assistant settings. I believe you need to setup voice match then allow it to work when the screen is locked

There is no relevant "settings" within Google assistant other than delete and retrain voice... I did the latter and during the retraining again there were no settings to allow for lock screen apps, for example the clock to be added 🤷 ♂️

Gemini can setup clock alarm in Samsung clock on lock screen 

 

 Check your settings in Gemini app too. You need turn on utilities in Gemini app settings

Open Gemini App and tap the Profile Icon on the top right and follow @Sonora  picture to enable Gemini on locked screen.

Yeah gemini allows for this, but my chosen assistant for "ok Google" is Google assistant, as in my previous post, gemini is rubbish at sending messages from lock screen!

So for the time being it looks like I use gemini as my default assistant to "turn off alarms" and have it suck at sending txt messages, or Google assistant as my default which is far more responsive and reliable at sending messages, but cannot turn off my alarms.... Ugh gonna stick with Google assistant for the time being!

@Coffeesurfers , do you even have Gemini APP on your phone? Gemini can use Samsung Calendar,  Samsung Notes,  Samsung Reminder,  send messages, call contacts,  but this you need allow through Gemini APP

For Google Assistant follow:

Open Google App, Tap profile on top right,

Settings -> Google Assistant -> Lock screen -> Assistant responses on lock screen (Toggle on) 

You also have the option to tap the screen as well as the "Hey Google" voice command.
