Adding Gallery photo as wallpaper

I can't add a Gallery photo as wallpaper. I go to Wallpapers, then chose Gallery and select a photo. Click Done. Then a popup saying Chose Where to Apply appears but then disappears immediately so I can't chose.

Then nothing happens, the photo doesn't appear as wallpaper. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Hold down on an empty home space to do the wallpaper settings, go to "Themes" and then go to "Wallpapers" in the shop. You can download a random wallpaper, set it as your lock/home screen, and then you can go back and change your wallpaper to whatever you want. Also uh I'm not quite sure what kind of Samsung this is but if we got the same error message then I'm assuming this'll work

I had the same message pop up too. I fixed it by converting my pictures to png format (they were in jpg"
