I'm having issues when in the house on WiFi more times then enough when doing something my phone s24 ultra upto date won't open an app like sky sports and on Instagram won't load pictures up and it's like it's trying to find it I switch WiFi off and connects through data straight away then I put the Wi-Fi back on and it works fine it's doing it all the time in the morning when I come in from being out my wife and son both have iPhone's no problems whatsoever just seems to be mine anybody having the same issues any advice would pretty much appreciated

I've been on sky ultra fast and just upgraded to sky fibre 300 I recently reset the box and reset the Wi-Fi settings on my phone still happening even just to open the message to reply to this it happened again

Hi,

Which router are you using.
Is it Sky's Broadband hub or the newest Sky WiFi Max hub? Are you using any extenders?

just a normal sky broadband router had it possibly 3 or 4 yearsar never had problems till the s24ultra

The router you have is dual band. You'll need to log into the routers admin page and check which band it's connecting to. 2.4ghz is not recommended. 5.0ghz band is recommended.

You'd be better off posting to the Sky help forums for tips on router set up.

looking at the WiFi on my phone settings it's saying connected to 5.0ghz but I will try sky 👍

That's preferable if it is.

Have you tried resetting the wifi settings on the phone?

Settings >general management >reset>reset wifi and Bluetooth settings

yes tried it as well as the box but still happening doing my head in but iPhones are ok
