Wifi error samsung s24 ultra

Morning guys 
Recently noticed when trying send a pic on messenger or WhatsApp I have to turn the WiFi off and use data. Wifi otherwise is fine. Any one have any ideas as to why. Have done the usual reset and reloaded the WiFi.

@chaz19: Please try heading to Settings > Connections > Data usage > Allowed network for apps > WhatsApp, and make sure that this is set to 'Mobile data or Wi-Fi'. Do the same for Messenger, and let me know if this helps.

They are both set to wifi or data so that is not the problem. Have reset wifi network and restarted phone. It's very frustrating

Update could not send this reply when wifi was on so used data 😐

@chaz19: If you connect to an alternative Wi-Fi network, does the problem persist? If so, try checking the Google Play Store > Tap your profile in the top right > Manage apps and device > Updates to see if any updates are available for the affected apps. Furthermore, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install, followed by Settings > Security and privacy > Updates > Security update, to ensure your phone is fully up to date.

This isn't a new issue, nor is it related to WhatsApp.....

There are times when WiFi simply "freezes".

When I check other devices, network is fine so there must be some issue with Samsung here.

Agree as all other devices seem fine. Hope samsung can get this issue fixed soon. Seems to have started after the last update was installed.

@chaz19 I'd suggest to send this as feedback via the Samsung Members App so that tjis can be looked at by the relevant department. 

I've no issues myself however I Appreciate people can come up against very real issues.

All data services seem prone to freeze on S24 Ultra. Pretty shocking. I'm doing the old Airplane mode shuffle several times a day.

Really poor for a 'flagship' phone.
