Why is it taking so long

Hey guys is anyone else got the new updates ? I'm on s24 ultra and still no android 15 OneUI 7 update why is it taking so long I'm in the UK and thought it was the 7th April that everyone is getting it

The 7th was when it started to roll out. Started on Korea and goes out in stages.
Reasons generally why you may not have it are, either it's not in your region yet. The phone was bought through a network provider. These can delay the software.
Also if the phone has been imported, it's likely not to get the update as its outside of the region it's meant for.

I do not think that anyone from the UK got the update on the 7th. The release started from the 7th, initially Korea, and it is released in batches.

Did you get your phone from Samsung, an independent retailer or a network?

Phone from networks usually take a bit longer. The update depends on the network, not Samsung.

If you have a S24 Ultra, then you should not have too much longer to wait.

Simply? Because there are 10's or even 100's of millions of devices to be updated.

It will take time.
