Warning on the security update

Hi, 

My phone keeps telling me to try and install a security update. When clicking I get the message saying that all is up to date, but the warning never goes away.

Has anyone got the same issue and solved it? 

I'm still on One UI 6, didn't receive any update, UK based, unlocked phone. 

Edit: forgot to add, last security patch is April 2024.

Yep, it tells me it's up to date

I got it as a present, bought it in the UK online (amazon i believe)

Ok, that's unusual. If you have a PC you might want to try using Smart switch to update your phone's firmware. If not, it might be an idea to try taking your device to a Samsung center and see if they would be able to update it for you.

That EUY code is telling us the phone is meant for non eu European countries which could explain lack of OTA. As suggested try with Samsung shop support if they are willing to help and flash firmware update.

Looks to me like the update has already been downloaded but you haven't installed it.

Click on the message when you next see it and t should install it there and then.

Worth remembering that assuming you install as above, you may find a few updates behind it will also then need to be downloaded.
