Warning on the security update

Hi, 

My phone keeps telling me to try and install a security update. When clicking I get the message saying that all is up to date, but the warning never goes away.

Has anyone got the same issue and solved it? 

I'm still on One UI 6, didn't receive any update, UK based, unlocked phone. 

Edit: forgot to add, last security patch is April 2024.

Does the date change on it? Updates aren't done all at once and have to be downloaded one at a time. Update again—does the patch date change? If so, it looks like you just have to catch up.

If it doesn't change date, I'd suggest booting into safe mode and attempting the update.
To boot a Samsung device into Safe Mode, power it off completely, then power it back on. When the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the Volume Down key until Safe Mode is activated and displayed on the bottom left of the screen.

If your last update was April 24 then your a year out of date, those security warning are being issued to tell you of that fact and to tell you to update your device.

Could be the Google Play Software that needs updating
If you go into settings and About Phone
Tap on Software Information
Then tap on Google Play System Update

These are not cumulative updates. So if they haven't been done for a while, there maybe a few to do

I am trying to update my device, but I don't get any updates when accessing that menu.

This is what I get when I press on the security patch warning. In comparison, the google play update is green.

I've also just tried in safe mode and I get the same result.
I already wiped the system cache too.

Yup, I've done the google play update. It's the security one that doesn't take me anywhere and I don't know how to solve😭

No change, always getting the same message. Just tried in safe mode too.

You're on April 2024 security patch. Have you ever updated your phone's firmware? If not, you should definitely do so now.

This is what I am trying to do; it doesn't provide a way for me to update it.

You went to Settings>Software update>Download and install?
