Two failed Amazon deliveries.

After Amazon failed to deliver my new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 512, twice, due to the driver stealing it, I'm now planning on buying it directly from Samsung once I have gotten my money back from Amazon.

Will packages send by Samsung be stolen too or will they actually arrive?

Samsung send items as securely as possible. Meaning you will need to sign for the delivery
Here where I live in the UK, delivery is done by DPD.
Even though they can leave with my neighbour, they won't. Luckily my neighbour has a key to let herself in my house. So they can get a photo of delivery.
I find giving as much detail about the delivery address as possible helps. Including what three words.
So far, I've never had an issue with ordering from Samsung online direct

And to add, to above, that I never had issues with either Samsung or Amazon delivering high value items safely

I am confused as to why you're posting that here. Samsung don't have any control over the way in which Amazon deliver parcels.

I've had all my phones delivered directly by Samsung UK using DpD with no issues @PaulKrawitz

They also deliver any accessories I purchase from Samsung UK.

Downloading the DpD app allows for updates, and they should send a pin number to you to provide the DpD driver to confirm who you are.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Because I wanted to know how much more secure Samsung is in it's delivery, compared to Amazon.

@PaulKrawitz: I absolutely understand your trepidation. All I can do is assure you that Samsung provide tracking services from the moment your order leaves the warehouse, and DPD, our logistics partner, will send you a security PIN for high value items, which you will need when signing for the recorded delivery. If you would like to find out more, please take a look at the link below.

Samsung won't comment on another companies processes. Certainly not publically. They'll only advise about the measures they have in place, which you can trust. I use Amazon, don't get me wrong, but they're not specialised in high-priced items like Samsung.
