Trying to update my s24 plus and it shows system update 15 , but it will not work! Gets stuck on like 3% and then gives me error code 412.

It's just a security update. It's not Android 15.

It's a security update, not Android 15.

Mine doesn't even get that far. It starts the download, goes for a minute or 2 and disappears from my notification bar. Go back to system update and I get the message..download interrupted, will resume automatically. After a minute or so of this, I get the download failed message with a 500 error. Like you, I restarted my phone, cleared cached data, made sure wi fi was connected, reset network settings recommended by Samsung during the call, and still nothing. Samsung tried numerous steps to resolve the issue with no luck. Was told to wait 24 hours, restart phone, clear cache and try again. Never had an issue with updates on my s24 ultra until this update. So I'll try again tomorrow evening, but I'm expecting the same 500 error to appear. About the only other option is to do a factory reset, after backing up my data.

I have had this problem for over a week. Verizon is my provider as well. I tried restarting, wifi, everything nothing works
And today my touch screen wouldn't work and a message said "your software isn't update to the latest version touch capabilities may be disabled"! Luckily restarting my phone fixed that but the updated still failed after that

That's not correct. This is an android update, not a Verizon update. Verizon is not pushing anything out.

Use Smart switch and a laptop if you really want to update it that bad. I'll just wait. It's just a security update.

Yes I'm here been that way for about 7 or 8 days now. I got as far as 48% the other day but it took like 4 hours and then crapped out again
