Trying to update my s24 plus and it shows system update 15 , but it will not work! Gets stuck on like 3% and then gives me error code 412.

Seems like people are experiencing issues with the January update.

Is that what you were downloading?

Also could I ask where you are based?

Seems like a USA Verizon issue.

Yes, it just started downloading like normal,  and I was like oh cool..then checked back and it's not moved from 2%, and then finally gives me error, I tried restarting, tried turning off wifi, etc but nothing,  now one positive is that it hasn't seemed to effect my phone as far as sending text, calls, etc.  Maybe they get it fixed, since I'm not the only one with issues.

Today I finally was able to attempt to download the Android 15 update on my S24 Ultra. Was moving very very slow and kept failing. After the 3rd failed attempt, I now don't see Android 15 at all to download in the system update. It thinks my phone is up to date but my phone still says it has Android 14 and the error message 412 lingers in the system update menu because its in reference to an update I can no longer attempt to try to download to get rid of the error. What a mess of a rollout. Did Samsung remove the update from Verizon because it was failing everyone or my whole update process isn't functioning properly because the errors in the update? One of the two.

I'm having the same problem, although for me the first time around I got an error code of 407.  My wife has already updated but says it took *forever*.  Currently I am at 1%.  And yes, we are on Verizon.

I am USA Verizon. 

 

One possibility is that Verizon is trying to push it out to everyone at the same time causing their servers to nearly grind to a halt.  If so, we might have more luck tomorrow.  Alternatively, if it is on their side due to some other problem they might have this fixed by tomorrow.  My wife hasn't mentioned any problems with her phone once it finished updating, though, so the package appears to be good once it is downloaded and installed on your phone.

Are trying to install beta? There is no final version. Check US Samsung forum rather this UK one
