Whoever marked the current workaround as a "solution"—with all due respect—must be out of touch. There used to be a clear toggle for enabling or disabling Super Fast Charging. In One UI 7, it's gone.
That’s not a solution. That’s regression. The real solution? Bring the toggle back.
Everything else is just gaslighting loyal users.
You should seriously consider cleaning house—especially in marketing and whatever layer of "management" keeps approving these tone-deaf decisions. You're supposed to be striving for excellence, not just aiming to be slightly less frustrating than the competition.
I’ve bought your phones precisely because you weren’t as locked down and arrogant as Apple, and not as privacy-invasive as the CCP-backed alternatives. So why are you copying the worst traits of both?
I’m sorry if this comes off as a rant, but when you pay flagship prices for a phone, it’s infuriating to see usability actively get worse with updates. I can’t throw my S24 Ultra at the wall (as much as your updates tempt me to), so instead you’ll just have to be subjected to this feedback.
