Anyone noticed sound is different now using a speaker etc and playing music on the same app as previously.

Plus despite not touching my phone, music will start playing by itself.

The sound thing tho. Hard to describe unless you've heard it.

Same tunes, same app, same settings, same speaker, new phone, strange tone to music now.

Dolby sound or adaptive sound are something you might want to look at.

It sounds richer now on the S24 Ultra than previous Samsung phones, if that's what you mean. Quality has just improved over previous generations.

Nope. Sound almost seems to cut out, a little choppy

I don't typically use Bluetooth speakers with my phone, but on my buds, sound is the same and the distance has always improved year on year. Not really tested this on my S24 Ultra though.

Just an update, tried out my buds pro and they seem to work perfect, although they're only on 4%! 🤣 Range seems to have improved even more, no drops or cut out and that's a distance of my phone in a basement going up 3 flights of stairs. Very impressed.

Hi @at_theresonly1mac

The music starting by itself, is app related. The app that is playing the music, in its settings must have a settings, saying: "start playback when devices are connected" or similar. If you do not want the music to autoplay, then toggle off that setting in whichever app is the one playing the music.

This happened after I'd closed the app.

Which app are you using for music playback?

There must be a play in the background setting as well
