Software update - no effect

Hi, I know there are a few entries already about the Update and the vivid slider etc but I've updated and although it all looks as it should the vivid slider shows zero effect to the screen. I've tried clearing cache and even system cache but still zero. I just wondered if anyone else has the same issue. Note: the vivid slider is visible so all other switched are as needed to make it work. Cheers

Sounds like that's the bug then 🤣 yeah I have 120hz turned on so thay makes sense

This is very strange.. I immediately noticed a difference when switching the slider. Before it was very dull.. Too dull and now you can see a big difference

I, too, didn't see much difference .

I guess you have got used to the natural mode like me and others.

People seem all over the place. Some like it, some hate it, and some just want the natural now.

I'm keeping the natural 😌


If I do get bored or want to change, at least that option is there.

I also did a Wipe Cache and stuff. And see the subtle difference 😏.

I guess my eyes are getting old.

Hi All. There is definitely a difference in my Vividness now, when I move the slider. I talked with Support and they said the same as everyone here about Eye Comfort and Adaptive Colour Tone having to be off before slider appeared. I also thought that Adaptive Motion smoothness needed to be selected, but after carefull checking this is not the case and Samsung support confirmed this. However, I dont know if its me but my screen vividness seems to have got progressively better since I did the update. Mind you if you keep your screen brighness slider low then the effect isn't as good. Turn adaptive brightness off and increase the brightness for more punch. At the end of all this I love my Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Wallpaper AI creation is magic. I could play for hours creating masterpieces ha haha see attached.
