Hello,
I have a S24U and when I connect to Smart Switch its telling me that "A new software version is available". I done the update, even though the "Current software version" and the "Latest software version" were identical.
Following the update I reattached phone to computer and its still telling me that a update is available, and its the same exact version as I had just installed, (which was the same version that was already on the device)???

I am assuming that you are connecting the phone to a computer. I will try to uninstall and install again the application on the computer.
On the phone, I would clear the cache of the app, uninstall and install the app, clear cache partition on that order.

Please keep in mind that you will need to connect the phone to a computer or a phone before you press the volume up and side/power buttons.
