Smaller Ultra S25 or whatever

Hi!

I wish for Samsung to consider smaller Ultra. Something between S24 and S24+.

Surely not everyone wants such a big phone.

Maybe ditch 2 telephoto lenses, for 1 variable.

Like Sony does.

I can go without an S pen.

Samsung has me with design and One UI.

So...

If the S25U isn't bigger than my S23U, then I won't be purchasing it. One of the reasons I didn't go with the S24U. Definitely needs the S Pen. Camera, I'm not too fussed about. UI needs tweaking by reintroducing features removed in UI6.1, such as AOD brightness. We shouldn't have to install extra apps to achieve this.

But than give a plus a +. Not just in display size.

And please some new ringtones, they are the same since S20 😄

The size is rumoured to be 6.8 screen size, exynos chip, the camera being the same on the back (5) more like the S24,S23 were so just the same standard stuff.

Guessing the Ultra will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Plus and base models will get exynos 2500. Seen rumours, it will be more like a 6.9-inch screen, with a larger but same capacity (5000maAh) battery to handle the extra power draw.

Sizes seems to cover a wide range. They killed the Note because it was not viable to create three or four Flagship mobiles, as in Note, S, Flip and Fold. Making yet another size which is going be pretty similar to the three offerings might not be economically viable. In addition, they cannot make something too close to the Ultra that might kill the Ultra.

I hear you, but I would think that economic viability will be one of the main decision factors.

Exynos is a deal breaker for me. Won't touch a device with Exynos in it.

That's why it's called the ultra because it has all the best bits. If your going to go smaller it won't have all those extras fitted. What about a folding mobile that's bigger when in use only.

Fo now, no foldable or flipable can match Ultras camera performance...

They could do it, but like Reylob said, it's economics...

I haven't upgraded my phone for years because I want the better specs but a smaller size. @samsung please consider this for the s26!
