Dear Samsung Team,
I’m writing to report a serious issue with my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra after the One UI 7 update (based on Android 15). Since installing this update, my device has been overheating even during basic tasks like browsing, messaging, or using social media apps. Alongside this, the battery performance has drastically declined, with unusually fast drain.
Before the update, my phone functioned normally with excellent battery life and no heating problems. Now:
The phone heats up quickly, even during light use
Battery drains by 20–30% within a couple of hours
Overall performance seems affected
Steps I’ve already taken to troubleshoot:
Cleared cache partition
Put unused apps into deep sleep
Disabled background data for non-essential apps
Ran diagnostics via Samsung Members
Unfortunately, the problem still persists. This is disappointing, especially for a flagship device like the S24 Ultra. I kindly request Samsung to look into this and release a fix promptly.
Device: Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
One UI Version: One UI 7
Android Version: andriod 15
Please address this issue urgently. Looking forward to a fix.
Thank you,

Hi dave345,
as indicated by Gabri722, if you are an Italian user, you can write in Italian so that all users can have a better understanding of the topic.
Having said that, I could find that you had already reported the behavior in the past days, in this thread:
https://spr.ly/6601N2TXb
The colleague had provided you with a guide to follow, which also explains the possible causes of the increase in consumption.
If you have already followed the instructions, please provide us with a screenshot of the battery consumption screen that you can view as follows:
Where there is an application that is consuming too much battery, it may not yet be optimized for the new version of the system.
In this case, it would be useful to uninstall it momentarily and check if the battery consumption is back in line with the previous ones.
Let me know.
Bye!
