Any ideas on how l can access the members app on my S24 ultra. I have just transferred the S21U which has no issues in accessing the app.

Same WiFi or mobile sim card. Not using a VPN.

Samsung support suggests doing a full factory reset. This needs to be the last resort as even with SmartSwitch it took many hours to get my new S24 set up as l like it.

@VioletUltra

What do you mean? There is always data and cache to clear. Have you tried clearing the cache partition? It is more complicated than clearing the app, but it is something that I would try.

You will need the phone connected to a computer, USB headphones or another phone, Turn off the phone and press volume up and power simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears, the phone should boot on the recovery mode and you can navigate to clear cache partition. After clearing the cache partition, you could go to the bottom of the menu and select optimise app, the phone will reboot and optimise the apps.

As said, it is more complicated that clearing the app, but way simpler than a factory reset.  One gotcha to keep in mind, it is that getting into the recovery mode fails and the phone boots normally. If this happens you need to repeat the procedure. YouTube has several videos about clearing the cache partition.

Thanks for replying @Reylob, initially l only looked to clear cache in the app, l have now cleared cache partition, but still getting the same error. Is there any chance the phone could be a non UK one, would that make a difference?

Where did you buy the phone from?

If it was from a reputable retailer, I do not think it is from a different region.

There are some issue with the Samsung store app and online store. I cannot check my orders. This could be some Samsung's servers problem.

May I ask what SIM are you using. Is it a UK network SIM?

Hi @Joeeye I am using EE. One hardware sim, and an eSim. Both give me access to Members app when installed into my S21U.

Are you logged into your Samsung account on the new phone? If so, can you check in the account from the settings screen the Samsung Apps and Services to see if the Members app is listed there
