Just had an email to say mine has been delayed from tomorrow until 9th Feb. Wtf - I ordered a 1TB right after the event on 17th. I even picked a (premium) delivery spot for tomorrow. How do companies still not have a competent ordering system in 2024??

Did you get an email from DPD today or is that the only correspondence you've had?

Mine is directed to the local DPD depot now from Hinckley DPD hub 4.

I couldn't order on 17th and when i ordered on 18th morning it said delivery by 1st Feb which I am ok with but my issue is, whenever I check the order status, it still says order acknowledged and not confirmed so I'm not sure what that means and if I'll get another email about delay or worst, a cancellation!!! I went for s24u 1tb model

The email I got was from Samsung, my order status is still saying acknowledged but Samsung have said I will get phone watch case etc all on Friday 26th

I don't think it would be cancelled, worst case would be delayed.

Not sure about the rest of the world but I saw a stat today (unverified) that s24 ultra orders in India are significantly up on the S23 ultra orders for the same time period

If interested: this article for India, states 250k units pre-ordered in 3 days Vs 3 weeks for the same volume with S23...

Wonder what the numbers are like globally

Samsung could not have reached this sales figure if it had not used the Qualcomm gen3 chip. Thanks to Qualcomm.
