I have the following problems with all the phones above.

For the last few years both the S23 and S22 phones were fine with my routers (Asus AXE11000 and AXE 16000) on all bands. and suddenly they started to act up. On the 5 and 6 g bands they would connect and after a minute or so they would start disconnecting and then reconnecting every second and on the 2.4 band they would connect and 50% of the time with connected without internet displayed and other times would connect and be very slow bringing up pages and then drop to no internet. I then traded up to a S24U and have the same problem. All my other devices are fine. Since the S22 and S23 worked fine originally I can only assume that some update from Samsung was responsible.  Since the phones have no trouble connecting with other wifi hotspots around town I assume that there is some incompatibility with the Asus chips or firmware. But right now I have a total of over $2,000 in equipment that is useless. And a bricked $300 appliance that crashed during a firmware update when the 2.4 band dropped on my S24U while performing the update.  Does anyone have any ideas when Samsung will address this?  I've done all the suggested fixes that I've seen mentioned here.

I had an Asus Archer router a while ago, with my S22U and S23U, and they worked fine on the 5Ghz band. Have you checked that Connectivity Lab section on your S24U? It might give you more insight, there's also some diagnostic on there. I have a S24U now but not an Asus router but no problem with WiFi so far.

Hi @wingdam

I also have an Asus router and my Galaxy S24 Ultra connects to it on the 5G band without problems.

Did you check if your router has the latest firmware?

Please also note, that you are posting in the European forum UK. You might also like to post on your region's forum since there are some differences between regions. I assumed that you are not in the UK, because you used dollars instead of pounds.

Could you also post the fixes that you have tried, please? It is easier for us to help, if we know what you have tried.

If the phone is bricked, you might need to take it to a Samsung repair facility. Again, I am assuming, that bricked means that the phone does not boot or gives any sign of life.
