S24 Ultra - Won't won't charge at all with USB-C to USB-C 45W chargers

I have this problem too

All of a sudden, my S24 Ultra has stopped charging on 2 separate 45W chargers (one an official Samsung charger).

These chargers and cables will charge other devices fine, so the problem appears to be with the phone. I've checked and cleaned the charging port and can see no debris when shining a torch in it.

The phone will charge fine with an old generic USB-C charger. It also works well from the USB-C port on a multiplug (so USB-C to USB-C). However, this is not a fast charging port, so it appears the issue is only with fast chargers.

When connected to a fast charger, the phone won't charge at all; it's not simply that fast charging isn't working.
I've cleaned the port, checked for updates, turned fast charging on and off, and reset the phone, but nothing has worked.

Any ideas? Is this likely a hardware issue?

Thanks in advance.

Contact Samsung support and let them deal with it

If you go into the support section on the Members App
There's a section to do various diagnostic tests.
One is for wired charging.
Try this and see what information you get.
If still nothing then best to contact Samsung Customer Support and book a repair.
Or better still if you have a Samsung Experience Store near you that can test the phone there. But you'd have to book an appointment

I have exactly the same problem, I have tried everything with several chargers, batter dump reset, reboot and nothing works, it suddenly just charges with wireless charger or slow fast chargers!

Did you got a solution or did you had to go to customer care?

It ended up basically just fixing itself after multiple attempts at "drying" out the charger port (was intermittently getting a water message even though it was dry). I must have eventually dislodged something as it's been fine ever since!
