S24 Ultra Video Calling on WhatsApp at low light gets grains unbelievable.

When calling using WhatsApp at low light, the video gets a lot of grains. The samsung camera app doesn't have this issue on the same situation.

Don't call with low light. The other person needs to see you properly.

But my s10+ doing better than 24 ultra at the same situation without any grains on the video.

Just a theory. It could be because of the screen and the anti reflective coating in the s24 ultra or whatsapp not playing nice with the new software and needs an update.

I personally haven't paid much attention to it.

But one friend mentioned they were impressed with my video quality during the day time.

 Day time performance is good, but look at the screenshot I taken during the low light. The same time I tested s10+ , which gives proper blacks and colors.

Does it change in good lighting at night?

If so maybe it needs some camera update.

Have you tried any other video calling app to eliminate that is not the whatsapp app issue?

No issues at night with good lighting.

Not yet tried on other apps. Let me test on other apps.

I saw some other users complaining same issue for fb messenger also.

Same issue on my new S24 Ultra, did you get any solution? There is a lot of grains and very dark for low light video call!

Xiaomi 11T Pro my previous phone has an option in an in call that you press it and it light up the edges of the screen with bright wight light so they can see you even if you don't have any other light around you..apparently s24ultra an 1000£ phone is too much to add that feuture as ext
