Hello,

Don't know if their is another way to give feedback about a software bug. If their is, please tell.

On my S24 Ultra I'm always coming to a point that most of the apps won't connect/load when I'm on my home network.

The only solution to this is clearing the cache completely when the phone is in save mode.

Clearing the cache from the apps separately doesn't help. I always need to go in safe mode to clear it completely.

This helps for a (short) time. Sometimes after a few day, sometimes after some weeks I need to do it again. This started after a firmware update 3 months ago.

Yeah I'm having this problem too. It's definitely not the router, it's absolutely the phone and nothing I've seen suggested online has fixed it more than temporarily. It's making the phone practically unusable when I'm at home 🫤

I just had this same issue pop up which S24 and samsung tablet where wifi upload speed was zero, rendering some apps unusable. Lots of googling, tried everything possoble....nothing.....and finally found a fix. Turned out to be as simple as changing my wifi settings. All I changed was ipv6 setting from 'auto detect' to ' Auto configuration SLAAC/DHCHv6'....whatever that means. Anyway, fixed it!!

My laptop was fine before and also fine now, was only limited to samsung devices

This actually works. Great find.

Was facing same problem with my s24 ultra connected to wifi 7 device, changed the IPv6 setting from  "SLAAC" to "DHCPv6" and now the wifi is working very smoothly.

Interestingly, I was having further issues with my wifi router so just bought a new wifi6 Netgear, no issues with that yet....so it could have been my router on it's way out amd changing that setting bypassed the thing that was failing? Who knows. I guess the router has been on 24hrs a day for 4 years straight haha can't last forever

Just made made these changes and after a quick test of some of the apps I've been having issues loading on my phone. It appears to be working. Thanks so much. Cheers.

Oh man. Sorry to hear. I know how annoying it was for me until I got it fixed.

The settings I changed was in the Aginet app for my modem router. Which is a TP-Link router.

These are the rough steps I did. Fingers crossed this work for you also.

Go to internet connection.
Then click IPv6.
Click internet setting.
Click DSL (connected).
Click the option that shows as connected. Currently showing as (ipoe_ptm_0_6_d).
Click IPv6 (enable).
Click address type.
Changed it from auto to DHCPv6.

Probs too much info there for you that might just be specific to myself but I saved the steps in my notes in case it somehow got worse and I had to back track.

Wishing you luck.

my router doesnt have most of the steps you mentioned i can access gateway→connection→local ip network→ ipv6 but there the dhcp is already enabled and cannot be edited aside from dns relay which can be turned on and off and the lan dns can be edited.

is there really no way to fix this on the phone itself? i have issues on so many wifi networks and i wouldnt be able to adjust router settings on those. its not limited to wifi 7 networks either it happens on loads of specifically 5g networks and 2g/5g combo networks my home wifi is wifi 5 and my friends wifi is wifi 6 and the his wifi is basically unusable and i have to be on my 2g network on my wifi

*****. No good. Sorry. I'm not the most tech savvy person. I struggled enough getting mine sorted.

I put the info into ChatGPT and the type of router I have to get the step by step instructions. And it was mainly correct. I'm on WiFi 6. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Would be better is Samsung could do a software update for the users this affects.

Hope you can get it sorted.
