S24 Ultra running HOT

I have submitted a report on this, but as a gauge; is anyone else experiencing quite significant heat when using the phone during gaming or intensive tasks? Lots of a phones get hot...but this is next level heat being generated...

I get you. I'm searching through all posts about the S24 Ultra, but nothing I've seen yet has convinced me it's a bad decision. This is the only topic that's given me a slight pause, as I've not had any of my last Samsung flagships overheat badly whilst gaming.

They have this issue with 23 ultra too and I dropped it and broke screen, when I sent it back...telling samsung they invalidated my warranty and told me nothing wrong with it, it was misuse of phone as its been dropped.

So if u have an issue... get it sorted as if it causes more damage to phone you will be in my position.

Test 4 Fortnite
Just played this with my son for a bit, max graphics settings, 60fps
- up to 40 degrees
- GPU around 75-80%
- starting to think it's optimisations but still gets hot..I'm sure hotter than SD8G2
- could possibly be the bigger vapour chamber dispersing more heat away from the chip...

I want to say that i have my s24 ultra for almost a week and i can say, even if its not "overheating" i get like 39 41 degrees while scrooling on instagram or reading in an book app, i dont know why, it feels "hot" but not too hot, when i checked the core temp i can see high temp spikes for no reason, trying to play on mobile legends i get 41-44 on ultra setings... i feel bad because i spent so much money on a premium phone but it came with these heating " problems", i hope they can fix it in future updates

Hello there. My s24 ultra overheat only when. It's plugged to my car and using android car. I hope they can fix this in a an update.

Just pulled my s24 out of my purse. Nothing in my purse but my phone and wallet. It's nearly too hot for the touch. Battery is low and I haven't used it in over 4 hrs..I'm researching now to see how many are having this issue.

I just activated my phone yesterday and noticed immediately that it got warm just sitting there. It's warm in my hand now and my 10 never did this.

After exactly one week of use, I can definitely say that my s24 u has stop heating up. After some research, I found that the phone is learning, in the first day of uses, how you actually use your phone, charge it, etc.. So it's gonna get hot for some days, then it will stop after learning your habits.

I generally agree with this...mine rarely gets toooooo hot now, although I still standby that it gets hottER than the s23 ultra whilst gaming or under load
