S24 Ultra running hot during photography

So on the weekend I was doing a reasonable amount of photography during an airshow. Nothing over the top as I had young children to look after as well. During each episode the phone would get very hot. I have nothing to give you in the way of actual numbers but it was much hotter the ambient temp which was around 25c. 

Is this to be expected as I don't think I have ever noticed it on any other phone including other S models and iPhone Pro's.

I do notice this happening to my phone (S24 Ultra) when it is in direct sunlight, particularly during Summer. Check if this happens anywhere else other than direct sunlight and check with samsung if it still persists.

Happenes with most phones. Including my iPhone
Using the camera will use quite a lot of processing. So the phone will heat up a bit.
In hot weather, it's likely to get warmer still.
Especially if recording video.
Sometimes I will take the case off the phone to allow it to cool better in hot weather.
But if it gets too hot, then the phone will notify you

Thanks for the replies all. I was using it caseless so perhaps why I noticed it this time.
