In addition to everything mentioned, I also do this - I reset all settings to their defaults, i.e. remove all personalization (theme, font, lock screen settings), and put everything back to the original way it came. After an update, I can easily personalize my phone again. I read this recommendation a long time ago on the xda forum and since I've been using it, I've had no more problems. I also do this before every monthly update, and especially before the big upgrade that's coming soon.

I'm having the same issue. Today I installed the update and after restart it is very hot next to the cameras. Did you manage to solve this issue ? Thanks

I did this, this morning. It seems to have fixed the problem.
thank you. (S24U) - our S24+ does not have the issue, but i tend to 'play' more with the settings on my 'U'.

Hello
I have the same problem but it started after the One UI 7 update.
The back, sides and the screen all become very hot after any update or restart that it's diffucult to hold the phone so I place it onto a table to cool down after turning it off. I have tried the soloutions above but nothing is helping in fact it made it hotter clearing the cache partition and resetting all settings.
I am thinking of taking it to a Samsung store for them to look at it as it just shouldn't behave like this. It's the first time I have had a problem with overheating after using smartphones for around 10 years and will reply back on return in a week or so.

We will wait for the results.
My S24 ultra doesn't overheat even at almost 40°C, I avoid using it directly in the sun, except when I see something beautiful and have to take a picture, but even then it doesn't overheat.
