S24 ultra ore order finally arrived

Guys I don't know I'd im beeing fussy but I have now my s21 ultra and my s24ultra side by side and screen is no comparison .... I mean s21 ultra is miles ahead.. the s24 got washed up colours everything looks dull ... my s9 screen is more vibrant ..on reddit saw multiple peole talking about same issue ... anyone have similar experience? It looks to be software but not sure yet ... will go to samsung shop tommorow and see what they say ... samsung customer service is non exist lol I'm wondering is samsung done and going backwoods...

If you perform a forum search you'll find threads already created in regards to the subject you raise. 

Sone think it's the new armour glass and some think it's the anti reflective display finish. 

Sone have changed to vivid mode. 

Please send feedback via your Samsung Members App because if many do then Samsung may send out a software fix to improve the colour options.

Yep, there's a thread with hundreds of posts about it already, some people have got a reply from Samsung support saying this is a bug an they are working on a fix, but you're absolutely right, the S24 screen currently is much worse than S21/S22/S23 screens.


It's not the anti reflective coating because the display can show these amazing colours in the official gallery app, then it all goes muted as soon as you exit again.

I think it is the screen actually it self I can se the difference when I'm gaming in apps as well is massive ... I didn't get any reply from Samsung yet ... will try to call them

Go to the settings menu, try changing between Standard and Vivid modes - it literally has no effect. Same with changing the white balance and RGB sliders - they do literally nothing. It's a firmware bug.

There is an effect, but it is an extremely light effect. You can see it on 3rd picture better ..or maybe I got paranoid 😳 I don't know if they will manage to bring the same vibrance on this screen just a patch update..I just the fact that they start selling phone like that is already a big red flag ... nobody is samsung realised that ? Lol ... i think they knew ...

Was speaking with one of their chat advisors ... lol they said to me that they are aware of that and suggested to leave a feedback on software development section , said that the will fix it ... and then text me this : Thank you for your cooperation. Rest assures that our developers are not working hard to rectify this issue.
