S24 Ultra is a bit odd

Hello I'm new to samsung (Located in the US sorry samsung redirected me to this link when signing up!) 

Is it normal for my s24 ultra to have only 8gb of ram? I also have not received the One UI 7 update... is my phone okay lol I just got this and it was refurbished I'm getting a little worried

I'd also like to add that my phone refuses to work with Android Auto on my 2017 Hyundai elantra and didn't connect to my TV to mirror my screen... it isn't a samsung TV maybe that's why? The battery life is also not that good and I hate that I can't check the battery life to replace it.

Any tips?

That's ram plus and yes 8gb is good. That's in addition to 12gb ram.

I have ram plus enabled but others chose not to.

The S24 Ultra does have 12GB of RAM. Looking through the forums, you are looking at RAM Plus; this does not indicate how much RAM your device has, so I wouldn't worry. To confirm go to device care app- memory- itll say xgb/ 12gb used

I feel like you should have UI 7 by now, which leads me to believe your refurbished model isn't UK-based (assuming that's where you are posting from, as you are in the UK forums). Go to Settings > About > Software information > Service provider software version. Under this will show if it is a UK model. Share?

In terms of the battery, it may be worth contacting Samsung for a replacement. But it depends on how much you are getting. Go to samsung members app- support- diganostics- if it passes i woudnt worry
