S24 ultra battery draining 3 to 4 % in 1 hour without using any apps

Hai guys 

Anyone experience draining the battery when the phone is not on use . Every hour the battery draining 3 to 4 % someone knows how to fix the issue. When I check the battery usage history there is showing no apps are used I will upload the screen shot below pls help me guys to fix the issue  (my screen on time is 7 hours without disable any battery consumption settings tell me about yours?

Hi there

Quite simply, it isn't an issue.

Your S24 Ultra will be connected to WiFi / mobile networks even when screen is off, and it will be syncing with various services such as your email client, WhatsApp/ Facebook if you have them and many other services.

That's what uses the battery and is quite normal on any smartphone today.

Of course, if this is an issue for you, you can turn on battery saver overnight which will reduce battery usage but will also reduce what your device syncs etc overnight.

You may have to turn battery saver off again each morning depending on how you use your device.

Yes you are right wifi and Data Bluetooth location is on  always but I was using Poco f2 pro I never turn off them on that phone but I don't think this much draining on f2 pro anyway I will try to off wifi and data and try . Thank you

Samsung devices, especially flagship, do so much more than Poco which are (at best) mid range and in reality are more like basic devices.

Hence the extra usage on battery. You simply cannot compare S24 Ultra with a Poco.

Poco doesn't have great phones but f2 pro is excellent flagship device from Poco which is not launched in India I'm using from July 2020 still it's running in perfect condition.

This really all depends on what you have installed, phone signal reception etc etc
If the signal is not great the phone will use a tiny bit more

Some apps even though you are not using them will still run and refresh in the background
Things like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter etc all do for example.
This is so the apps open quicker and send you notifications.

You can always Wipe the Partition Cashe on the phone. May help slightly, but I find doing this after phone software updates, anyway helps reduce any software issue that may happen

A couple of stuff that drains batteries.

Poor signal

Always ON location. This is a biggy go-to app permissions, especially apps, social media apps, and either turn location off or when the app opens.

Background Data usage. Again, it is best to turn this off for social media apps or if you can help it autoloading videos, etc.

Rogue app. Again, check your app permissions, and depending on how useful the app is for you, turn off or keep them on only when the app is opened.

Agreed but a flagship from Poco would be similar to a base S24 unit, not an ultra.

They are a world apart hence why one costs 3 times that of the other 🫠

bro Poco f 2 pro is still more expansive than  s24 ultra
