Please check your settings in there.
Alternatively, when in a call that has been answered, increase the volume using the buttons on the right hand side of your device.
Your device is far more customisable these days to user preferences.

Your idea of 2g/3g (3g is broadly gone now in the UK) may help in certain circumstances but it is not the "only fix".

This worked on my wife’s phone, thank you. I set to 2g/3G and then back to 5g and still worked

It does work but then you have to switch back to 4G/5G for internet connection. It is not a long term solution. I shall contact Samsung.

I can be heard on incoming calls. It is outgoing calls that are a problem. WhatsApp’s calls have no problem. I am on Vodafone and have a S24+ SM936B/DS 256 Gb).
