S24 One UI 6.1 - another bug

Just found a really annoying thing...

I have a Galaxy watch, love it.

Had it since launch  and had the same watch faces on it .

Each time I've upgraded phone, I've simply changed devices on the watch, no hassles.

The watch faces I've downloaded or paid for are in my watch apps on the galaxy store, simply re-download them.

Not this time!

Gone to download my favorite 2 watch faces...

1st, few aren't showing up.

2nd, simple fix I though. On the S23 Ultra store, watch face I want, 3 dots and 'share' to the S24 Ultra.

Great, except it says not compatible with your phone??!

It's going on the watch, so what has the phone got to do with it??

I shared the link via nearby share and haven't got the link so can't screen shot.

Are you able to share the watches faces here? I've not had any problems when switching to the S24 with my existing watch.

Yeah can't find these in the store.

On S24 Ultra? Strange that they were in my stuff on my S23 Ultra but not showing on the S24.
As I said, when I sent myself the link, it said won't work with this phone... 😒

It's not unusual to find different generations of OS render apps incompatible. Happens a lot with the Google Play Store. However, It doesn't change how frustrating it can be, so I sympathise.

Maybe the S24U hasn't been added to the compatible devices list for these apps, although as you said it goes on the watch, there's some functionality within the phone too, for example customisation.

I can understand apps not being compatible with the phone but as it's a watch face that goes on the watch and not the phone itself and the others all work, that's what irks me 🤬
