How do I revert or rollback the OneUI 7 update?

The notification & settings swipe down feature, in conjunction with the app drawer vertical layout, is a pretty egregious muscle memory and reflex change. I would like to revert to OneUI 6 or disable these settings. Does anyone know how to revert the OneUI Update? I've read some mentions of a tool named Odin?

I would like to keep my Samsung, but honestly ... if future updates are more interested in changing HOW I am forced to interact with my phone rather than giving me new features or security enhancements, it might be time to look at competitors.

If you open the app Drawer, tap the 3 Button Menu and sort  can select custom option can change to Horizontal app Drawer.  However the Horizontal app Drawer does not currently support Alphabetical sorting in One UI7.

whilst you may not be able to set all your preferences there are a number of customisations available via Good Lock. See some information here https://news.samsung.com/global/exploring-good-lock-%E2%91%A1-unveiling-the-most-popular-good-lock-f...

It is not possible to downgrade software via official means and inherent risks in doing so by other routes, not always possible anyway. As mentioned it is advisable to have the most up to date software.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

One more thing:

To fix the size of your app icons, go to Home Menu Settings and change the size to minimum.

why remove the Horizontal app Drawer Alphabetical sorting,  when most people  use it, if it was there before,  what is it about the new Ui that cant support it

True. Please send Feedback. It's a bit of a bummer.

No, that was the whole point of their post.  I don't like it either.  I keep buying Samsung precisely so I don't have to relearn how to use things.

Give it as an option, fine.  A forced change that didn't improve anything but makes using everything differently, no that's not all good.

No! I get that updates need to happen, but when those updates have features that let you try to go back to some past normalcy and do not migrate your old settings forward, they fail!
My phone had icons with numbers of unread messages. Instead of migrating my current view forward, I had to go into all sorts of settings to get it back to close to what I had. Do you think that is good programming?
