Sometimes my battery drains crazy fast. Sometimes over night sometimes throughout the day.
The picture attached happened over night and the 3 hour screen on time was at night with very low brightness. Nothing indicating an app in the background or something causing it.

Anyone else has this issue?

Clear phone cache partition:
1. Turn off the device. Connect it to the computer. Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Power key.
2. When the Android logo appears, release both keys.
3. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
4. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight "wipe cache partition".
5. Press the Power key to select.
6. Press the Volume down key to highlight "yes," then press the Power key to select.

Go to any apps using high battery (YouTube), then: Settings > Apps > YouTube > clear cache.

Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Mobile network settings (sometimes the network can cause issues).

Go to Samsung Care > Optimize.

Go to Samsung Members > Diagnostics > Run test.

I would also recommend not using AOD.

Finally, go to the app store and Samsung store and make sure everything is updated; outdated apps can cause issues.

Hello 👋 @MRM7

I can appreciate that battery's drain can be concerning especially if usage stats were ok previously.

AOD in my personal experience wouldn't use a heck of a lot of battery.  It's a useful feature.

I prefer to use my phone's features I want and not start turning this and that off in order to save a bit of battery life.

However if the drain is exceptionally high then obviously some troubleshooting is needed.

Do clear the phone's System Partition Cache Files.

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

And also try Safe Mode.

There is the optimisation tool in the Device Care option too.

Other functions and features can use battery too.

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

Low signal.

Sync settings.

Widgets

5G

Can all play their part to deplete the battery.

Ultimately some have performed a back up followed by a Factory reset.
