So, I'm new to Samsung phones. Having dropped apple. Are the Samsung ecosystem apps worth using? In terms of wallet, Internet and calls and messages? Or is it best to stick to Googles apps? Thanks for your time.

Well from my experience yes
Though it seems to be going to Google messages now
But the wallet is find extremely handy. Passwords and cards
Vouchers and bording passes etc
I actually like Samsung Internet as well. Feel safer using that

Hiya. Personally I do a mix. I use Google Wallet but use Samsung for my phone and messages. Internet wise I use Edge (mainly because I can continue on my laptop) but when I have used Samsung Internet I've found it to be good.

Hey welcome! 😊
I use samsung browser because I really like the fact that it turns to dark mode all the websites regardless of whether the website has a dark mode by itself or not. Then you can use the "summarise" AI feature, which I use occasionally and a lot more other nice functions.
I also use samsung wallet with curve. You can store passes (flights, train, I think cinema too) and club cards like Tesco etc. Of course, you can use Google wallet as well.
I used to prefer and like samsung messages because if you change the theme of the phone it would apply there as well but I use Google messages for RCS compatibility with all devices and because I can have the messages on my browser when I am on my laptop (it's easier). If you have a macbook- I use ~quick share~ to "airdrop" things. In windows I just have the link to windows app and quick share from samsung and it works really well. Google apps are also nice. For example, I use apart from samsung notes (which is great) thr Google keep which you can also access from your PC/mac.

Correction for sharing between mac and windows it's not quick share but "LocalSend"

I used a mix but the beauty is you can use either Samsung or Google apps. Or many others you might like.

I think Samsung Internet is valuable in terms of functionality and safety, the AI is a bonus. Mixed views on Samsung Wallet ,you do need Samsung Pay plus via curve if your Bank is not supported in the regular pay app. Many do use a mix ,I find Samsung Messages works well and still supported at the moment. Google Messages generally better for RCS mind you. Samsung Apps provide quality though.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
