After an update to my S24 Ultra, the quick panel is no longer available to access when I swipe down from the top. I didn't change any settings prior to the update so the the problem started with the update.
I've restarted my phone without success of restoring the panel. I'm not tech savvy so if you provide a solution, instructions on performing the fix are needed.
Thank you.

THIS UPDATE SUCKS! Why don't they give you options to leave things the way they were??? Clocks on home screen is tiny, hate the new swipe option. Terrible. Might be time to start looking into Iphone. I've been an Android user for over 15 years.
Friday
More specifically, swipe from the top right CORNER and down to access the quick settings menu. Notifications: swipe from the anywhere at the top except the right corner and down. If you don't swipe from the right corner, it won't access the quick settings menu; it will default to notifications.
Saturday
This is not the case. Swipe down will not reveal the panel with flashlight, etc. Where did it go and what moron decided this was a good update? Time for an iphone i guess.

You have no idea how long I've been trying to figure this out! I've been down a Google rabbit hole for at least an hour...and I finally found your answer and it worked! Holy moly it shouldn't have been so difficult to find such an easy solution. Thank you so much!!!
