Problem syncing Chrome bookmarks onto Samsung internet

I have added Samsung Internet as extension on chrome, imported chrome bookmarks and I can se ethem on the extension. I have then gone into the settings and enabled sync on the chrome extension. I have then gone into Samsung Internet on my phone, into settings and enabled sync and pressed sync now. It says 16 items have been added but nothing has appeared on my bookmarks on Samsung internet. Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong/need to do now please?
