I upgraded from s23+ to s24+ and i've been disappointed ever since. Using my s23+ with power saving on I could go nearly 2 days without a charge.
As soon as I upgraded to s24+ I barely got a day, often needing to re-charge late evening. Same apps, same usage and same daily routine so I know its the phone thats the issue
Literally on the verge of going back to an s23+ and after far too long looking on the internet I found a comment from someone who said to turn off power saving mode. I tried it and guess what, significantly improved battery life as soon as I changed it!
Previously with power saving on, I'd be at 10-15% by 6pm. Now I'm still at 30% by 10pm, massive difference
Worth highlighting the power saving mode has changed somewhat on the s24 (probably from the new UI?) Either way it not only looks different, it acts it too. So if you're having issues with battery and you have power saving mode on, try turning it off

@Members_zB8k0at Should not be the case, check the Power saving settings as suggested. However having said that I do not enable it as standard on my Devices and think you want a mix of the best experience/Battery life. It can be advantageous at certain times though.

I guess thats the unknown answer, why does battery saver drain my battery instead of save it. Worth noting on the S10+ and S23+ it was fine i.e battery saver did extend battery life. Its just the newer s24+ where it actually reduces it significantly

Thinking about updating also from my S23+ to the S24+
Is it worth it?

Honestly - No. Wish I'd stuck with s23+ and waited for what the s25+ may bring
