If you are bothered by the fact that the battery percentage is poorly visible
from Google Play download the Digital Clock and Weather app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonyericsson.digitalclockwidget2)
and in the settings, show the battery level, which will be below the main clock on the home screen.
Best regards from Zagreb, Croatia

I've had this app for a long time and this is the first time I've used it to see the battery status and percentage, it works flawlessly.

Does anyone have a better solution to this problem, without a third-party app?

I cannot believe that they've chosen to tarnish their brand over a battery display.
