Hi all 
Just asking anybody out there experiencing pixelation on s24 ultra, while watching netflix or youtube. 
I don't have any issues in other apps ie Disney + bbc iplayer sky or prime. 
Has anybody had this. Samsung went through soft reset cache clearing and reinstall the apps but it's still the same. I've contacted Samsung again but they haven't bothered to reply.

Hi all
Just like to give an update on the issue.
Samsung, very kindly sent me a new s24 ultra yesterday it's all up and running, and the netflix and youtube issues are no longer a problem

I watch YouTube extensively @smartfox and haven't noticed any. 

I have mine on High Quality.

Sorry I'm unable to check with Netflix as I do not have a subscription @smartfox 

In regards to YouTube are you using a Wi-Fi or Mobile Data connection,  or does the problem persist on both ?

No. I believe that happens because there is poor signal strength or you are watching above what the phone can support or low quality videos or recorded ones.


Looks like someone posted similar topic in the S23 forum so maybe it's a software bug. Tbh I only watched YouTube on my S24U and it was OK.

No my signal strength is solid on both 5G and wifi. The phone is the latest Samsung s24 ultra , more than capable of running netflix and youtube. I don't have the issue with other apps sky,Disney + prime etc are all good

Might be worth performing a Google Search if you haven't ready to see if you get any more hits on this @smartfox 

From the few replies you've had here in your thread other phone's seem to be behaving.
