Photo auto Post editing issues

When I take photos the phone appears to be post editing automatically. The photo goes from nice to poor as soon as it's done. I have followed instructions in this forum regarding turning off hdr in the photo album app and the AI features but it's still doing it. Any one with a suggestion?

Which phone do you have?

Did you try transferring the picture to another device? If yes, does it look like in the phone?

You need to go through the Camera Settings and Gallery Settings to minimise the "optimisations".

By the way, there have been some issues on the camera front regarding Zoom level and sensors. May was meant to bring a big camera update which according to posts on the internet, it has been postponed to June.

Did you try watching the pictures in another device? e.g. laptop.

It will help to see if you are watching an artefact created by the Camara-Gallery Apps or if the picture itself has the problem.

Which mode, zoom levels, sensor(MP) are you using to take pictures?

I usually get the best results in portrait mode, even if it is not a portrait, and 12MP.
