Sharp corners hurt! I have the Note20 for more than 3 years and I love it. Now that it's old and the battery nearly exploded, I still wanted to buy from Samsung because of the pens. As an architect I find the pen super useful. So I bought the new Galaxy S24 Ultra and omg, THE EDGES HURT! Seriously why Samsung, why? I understand that the design might be more elegant but don't you care about the user's experience at all? I am very disappointed, I cannot even hold it in my hand so I sent it back.

If the edges are really hurting you, you can get a case that has rounded edges if you get a phone like the s24 u again

Respect to you and your opinion @Joannabbas, but I always put a wallet case on my devices (I currently own a wallet case covered S23 Ultra), which makes them soft and cushioned and very pleasant to hold. This makes my devices more bulky of course, but I have no problem sliding them in to my pockets or even using them one handed. You have the right to reject any phone you are not comfortable using though, and I hope you do end up with a device that suits you well.

I use the Spigen Rugged Armour Case on my phone @Joannabbas which is very minimal.

Not because of the issues you raise but to add grip and some drop protection.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Don't find they 'hurt' at all bit of a dramatic over statement not that bad

I'm using a Ringke Silicone case and a screen protector from the same brand without any issues. If you're using a tempered glass screen protector, there might be a gap between the glass and the case. You might want to consider switching to a softer screen protector.

100% disagree, one handed without a case, coming from a rounded phone, they hurt.  I actually get a big line along my hand/finger from the weight of the phone after a few minutes of use.  Disagree is fine but let's not say someone is being "dramatic" simply because the experience is different.  Not helpful at all in the conversation.
