I just bought Samsung s24 ultra 2days back and noticing over heating issues and battery draining issue just for watching Facebook or insta or emails or WhatsApp calls for 30 mins or an hour time. Today I used phone only for photos and I kept full charge over night and I took like 25 snaps and the battery level came from 100 to 75 after that very quickly came to 35 and then switched off.. very disappointing.. please any solutions that would be helpful. Thanks

I have the same phone but I was impressed with the battery life as I was coming from older generation phone. This phone has better battery life because of the Snapdragon CPU.
This phone has a more powerful camera and software, the phone will adjust itself in the 1st week of use as well in the 1st month of use.
It overheats as new as every smartphone but after a while it will overheat less. I had some problems with over heating but mostly while using the camera, sometimes on video calls but otherwise it doesn't over heat, it also consumes alot of battery while using the camera, I've seen it reported by many users.

Also it over heated while doing software updates but like I said, otherwise I don't have problems with over heating on day to day use.

Please check if you have all the updates installed, the easiest way to find them is to go to Device Care and scroll down and you will find software updates and click on it and check for software updates.
Try to utilise Optimise system from Device Care during day time as it will shut down unused apps, clean bugs and help battery last longer.
You can also download Good Guardians App which has more features about how to save CPU and Battery health for your phone, this app is Samsung original, you will have to download each app again after you installed it.
Also after software update do Wipe Cache Partition, please check on YouTube how to do this correctly, please remember that it works only from USB C to USB C cable and you can use another Samsung device, especially a phone if you don't have a laptop or computer compatible with USB C cable.

The phone will still be in it's learning phase @Prats which does take around 2 weeks weeks to complete.

Its been known that issues can be experienced if a person has used Smartswitch to move their info from their old phobe to the new phone.

The possible remedy is a factory reset and use Samsung Cloud to move your info across.

The Device Care Section under Battery can show what apps are using the battery.

These generic troubleshooting steps can help.

In the UK if a phone has been purchased directly from Samsung UK then they provide a 14 day cooling off period to return the phobe for any reason.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask.  😎

Snapchat is a big battery killer in itself as an app!
