Question: Why is a mega-multi-billion dollar corporation like Samsung limiting participant space on their Beta's of OneUI?

Both Apple and Google don't have that restriction whatsoever when it comes to their OS Beta's, and even when Microsoft was still pursuing Windows Mobile, there was no limit to number of participants in their OS Beta's.

I see it as a bit draconic, and counterproductive to Samsung. Surely, the more feedback they get, the more they can fix, amend, and improve? Why limit the amount of feedback they need to make OneUI overall better?

It's partly to do with the One UI that the other manufacturers don't have
Some network providers add network optimisation software to the phones.
This is third party software and nothing you do with Samsung
So that's upto the network providers to make their adjustments and release the software

Maybe because they don't want a buggy update to brick everyone's phone. Maybe the features they added can only handle a set number of users. Maybe they only want technically experienced people using it. The average person might find out about it later, by then it's too late. If everyone got it, this forum would be full of "why does the beta have issues, fix now" and "why has the beta broken my phone".

Google does this too. Beta android apps have a limited number of users

Thinking about this logically.

Samsung have a finite level of resources for mobile.

Samsung will likely have scrutinised data from previous betas so will have a strong idea of volume of feedback. If they opened up beta (outside of the comment previously from @Glenntech) then the volume of feedback that would have to be reviewed would not only exceed capacity but also would slow down the stable release.

Since One UI7 beta was released, the forum has been extremely busy. Scale that up.......

I'm presuming you weren't eligible or unable to join? Based on previous betas, Samsung may open up more capacity in the coming days (but this is speculative on my part - Samsung haven't said anything about this publicly).

Yeah, I was unable to join. The banner never showed for me when the Beta opened up, because it's already full. Little sad at that, since I've spent the past 10 years of my life running everything I use on Beta software, as an Xbox Insider, Bing Insider, and Windows Insider.

Microsoft's Windows Feedback Hub consolidates similar feedback submissions, keeping it tidy when browsing and submitting feedback about Windows, for example, since there's a good few million more Windows Insiders than there are OneUI Beta users across the world. I thought that Samsung would implement something similar, to allow for a more controlled scaling of feedback submission, from an increase of Beta users from the get-go.

I can understand if they have limited resources for Mobile, but I would suspect that every other company has that issue to a degree as well.

So, why is it anyone could become an iOS Beta user, regardless of network? They get that update direct from Apple, no mobile network meddling. Same goes with Google with stock Android, where you can download and install freely, without Mobile network adjustments.

Aa I say
They don't have an extra software One UI
Google have a more vanilla Android software. So doesn't need extra testing
Same with ios that is completely controlled and locked down so every iPhone is forced to use the same software
Android is different
Samsung add One UI to the Android operating system to add extra features and functionality
