One UI Halted

Samsung has halted the release of One UI 7 due to a major bug found. Oh Samsung, you were months late for the update originally and now you've had to halt it, certainly not a good look for you. I think I'll be moving to oneplus very soon..

There is news floating around that ONE UI 7 rollout has had to be put on hold on the S24 series and potentially other phones due to people having issues unlocking their phones.

At the moment issue has been reported in Korea.

Lots of Sources online.

Hopefully this will be sorted ASAP.

So if you haven't received your UPDATE yet. You have dodged a Bullet.

Some users qouting third party Launchers / apps as culprits.

According to a few news outlets, it was due to an unlocking issue after installing the update on the phone

Think it's for Korea and Europe
Still apparently rolling out in the U.S and some other regions
But again it's not official news

Is this true? I'm in the UK and received no update for my S24. It's this why?

It is very interesting. Hopefully, it will get fixed soon. Has anybody tried setting the security level to 'swipe to unlock' so you wouldn't need a password as I think that's where the problems are occurring from what I know. If this doesn't work, then none of us can update until it's fixed, which is not ideal.
