One UI 8 Stable/Official version release date.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to ask if anybody knows when the Stable/Official version of One UI 8 (Android 16) is going to be released in the UK for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Apparently according to the internet it's saying sometime in September or October 2025 but there is no confirmed date from Samsung so far.

If anybody has any reliable info on it can you please share it with us if you don't mind.

I'm just curious that's all at the moment.

Not possible to know beyond a guess. Personally, I ignore any "leaks" as with UI 7, it was way off. The only visible source is when Samsung themselves release info.

There are no dates issued. The S24 is currently in beta testing at the moment.

Stable version hasn't been released for s25u yet so it will be a while before s24 gets it

Thank you everyone for your replies.

Apparently according to multiple sources on the internet the Stable version of One UI 8 based on Android 16 is due to be released at about 25 September 2025 for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series of smartphones (including my Galaxy S24 Ultra) in the UK.

However this is just purely rumours and speculation since there has been no Official confirmation at the time of submitting this comment from Samsung or Google which are both involved in the development of One UI 8 (Android 16).
