One UI 7 update - Notifications way too big

I'm on the S24 ultra, and I recently updated to one ui 7, I love most things about the update, however even on the ultra the notifications are far too big for my preference.

I use my phone for both personal and work, and after a couple of hours on a work day I can easily have over 30 notifications.

On the previous update the notifications were compact enough that I could quickly glance through them and pick out the important ones easily.

However with the new update this is much more difficult due to the size of each notification.

I would really appreciate if there was an option to make the notifications more compact if we want to.

And if you turn off card view under settings/notifications ?

Can you show me where to find this, I went through all the notification settings I can find, and also searched card view, but no luck.

Hide content or change to dots view? I don't think it will display more than 3 icons at any one time. And dots might be too small

Separate the notifications and quick settings panel and you will see more of them. If you still prefer a common panel, what are your fingers for, notifications won't move by themselves, and how much time does scrolling take - second-two? You couldn't  see all 30 on one screen before, too.

This is a hinge problem for those who prefer the "together panel mode".

Notifications are completely oversized.

Also the animations for bringing the panel up and down is now awful.

You can set screen zoom on minimum
