YouTube is your friend 😂
I didn't say Samsung pushed Oneui7 on S9 or S8 😂 . I said they (devs enthusiastic), we all know Samsung stopped support S8 and S9 long ago

The promise is 7 years of OS updates and security updates.
It is impossible to create a device that will be able to do everything that its successor will do in 7 years. They could be backward compatible but never forward compatible. For instance, S24 and S25 comply with Wi-Fi 7. There is no way either of them could be compatible with a future standard "Wi-Fi X", but the future "S31" will be. Even backward compatibility has its limits. No all features can be backward compatible.
The advantage of 7 year OS support is that Apps might stop supporting Android 14 within that period and if one is able to upgrade the OS, one can still use the App without the need to change the phone. However, if one wants the new features more often than not, an new device is necessary.
By the way, I am not saying that the technical specification differences between the S24 and S25 are so huge that the S24 cannot have all the features of the S25. I just simply do not know. I neither work for Samsung nor have access to the official information.

The S24 Ultra had and has its fair share of issue with the camera, but I think that most of the issues were software related with the stock Camera App. Because we could see bad, good and excellent shots posted.
I think it is very likely that we will see a few posts complaining about the S25 camera, even some saying that the S24 Ultra is better.
I am sure you saw a great improvements on the S25 Ultra camera, but the question is, the improvements are based on the new hardware or better implementation of the Camera App. Most likely, it is a bit of both.

That's why I think the S25 is a scam too, because Samsung intentionally used the same battery, the same 12GB of RAM, just as much as it's capable of with OneUI 7, almost the same camera as on its 4 predecessors and it won't get everything that the S26 does..
Funny is that my S21 Ultra have 16GB RAM-a.

As members star, the only privilege over any other member is that we could select a post as an answer.
I would not even say that we are Samsung's fans, but Samsung's customers, even though some of us might be fans. We have not link to Samsung's staff or power to summon them to give an official press release.
We are in the boat as you are.

Yes, we've all seen that ALL previous flagships are capable of extraordinary photos, as well as complete disasters.
I will have to criticize Gemini because he told me that Samsung Members Stars have a special private space for exclusive discussions with Samsung Staff.😋

Yes if I really worked at it, I could get decent photos. But point and shoot, macro and zoom over 3X it just was bad.
Met plenty of others that had the phones later in the year and they were all happy with the phones.
Shame as I liked the phone, just stopped using it to take photos with and relied on my Z Fold 5 that had far superior cameras
So I see the S25 Ultra in the prism of excellent over poor. So I do see the S25 Ultra as more than incremental update. But just all those small improvements add up, even on the hardware as well as the software.
Could be the One UI 7 Android 15 that make it that much more usable and fluid.
Think I learned a lesson between the Z Fold 5 and Z Fold 6.
On paper there really isn't much in it. But after using the Z Fold 6 for a few months. I noticed a definite difference in improvements over my Z Fold 5. Was sad to have to hand it back.
Time will tell with the S25 Ultra
