Notifications sound issues

My notifications sounds are so low that they're barely even noticeable, I keep missing text messages because of it. I've checked all the sound settings, nothing is muted and everything is on max volume. This is a significant issue for me as I need to be able to hear it when I receive a text message for my job. 

Such an expensive flagship phone shouldn't have such issues, this is a bit ridiculous to be honest. I've never had any issues hearing notifications on any other device ever. What on earth is going on with the low sound?

You will be surprised of how many issues get fixed on software development and they resurface every now and then. It is very common, it only takes checking out the wrong version of the code.

I had the same experience with the speakers, they are impressive. I hope the first firmware upgrade is not too far in the future.

I haven't turned off ALL notifications. The notification for a text message plays, the issue is that the volume is incredibly low, despite being set to max volume. All volume settings are on max. I mute apps individually, I haven't got it set to mute all apps. Hope this clears things up.

Irrespective of your volume sliders can you go into the individual messaging app you use and check that it's notification setting is set correctly. Also check the notification categories are properly set.

Same here, strange as the phone's speakers are really loud for media etc.. also battery thus far is average..hoping it gets better over time/ isn't an exynos thing..

I have the same issue, none of my notifications sound on the fone, and it also losted the keyboard sound, i have allready done factory reset and still the same. 

But if im with bluetooth earbuds or.some other sound device everything sounds
