Notifications not working on S24 Ultra

I have a brand-new S24 Ultra and cannot get the notification sounds to work for love nor money. I’ve done everything I can think of in apps, notifications etc and have also done a reset, but still nothing.

The apps I mainly use sound alerts for are Outlook, Teams and Messenger.  I’d be really grateful for any suggestions - thanks in advance.

I have problem with all notification, it's not showing in my s24 ultra only pop up is displayed then nothing showing in task bar.

I'm going to sound crazy here, but I've had this problem for 24 hours. Did all the things suggested on here but nothing worked. I decided to turn off the vibration in notification settings and all is working again.  I'm not saying it'll work for everyone, but it's worth a try

I needed to unpair a Bluetooth device. Odd that it was suddenly an issue but hope this helps others in search of a solution.

Mine was a hearing aid that was paired by Bluetooth and accidently switched it one when cleaning it but not putting it in my ear!

My wife's phone "S24 Ultra" had the same issue, no sound on any messaging apps. Voice and video call ringtone working fine. I traced it to her watch settings, went to 'wearable' app, 'watch settings', 'notifications', 'mute notifications on phone' was turned on, when turned to off her phone worked fine.
