No dual sim notification sound support for Google Messages.

I use Google messages for my SMS messages.

In Sounds and Vibration settings, I have different notification sounds set for my two SIMs. However, in Notifications > Google messages, the setting here which is another sound altogether, overrides the separate SIM notification settings.

If I use Samsung Messages, it works, because in Notifications > Samsung Messages - it has two separate sections for each SIM.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hello @Skyblue88 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

Personally I do not use Google Messages and use Samsung Messages which is good to go with notifications.

It does look like an app limitation at this time going by these sites I've found via a Google Search.

This above ^  piece from sammobile.com suggests a change is on the way in the near future hopefully.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
