New UI7 update dislikes!

Ok, so for the most part I don't mind the new system and android version update on my S24 but they taken away or changed some small things that I liked.

●No longer having the alarm bell icon in the top left of the screen when an alarm is set.

●Taken away the clock widget that I used. It was a large bold clock that was easy to see. Now the new widgets just look too small, even when I make them as large as possible.

●Issues when I swipe down to go on to my apps page, can no longer sipe up to take me back to my home page.

I know they're only small things, I'm just not a lover of changing the little things that work.

Some of the stuff is just a matter of getting used to.
Things you really don't like such as the clock. You can go into the support section on the Members App and leave feedback there for development teams to see

the new update is trash period.. the swipe down menu is annoying to get to.. the font sizes all changed to smaller its AWFUL

I have the following gripes:

Alarm icon no longer visible

Camera controls used to have a range of preset zoom settings, useful when taking a series of pictures of similar objects for size comparision, which I do for work, now just 1x 5x 10x

Battery %age figure is now not clear

Swipe down used to give "Device control", useful for switch bluetooth conections between devices.

Tried an app called QuickStar from the app store to give more control, but cant make it work, I dont know what I am doing wrong, I will update here if I make any progress with it.

The update is awful...harder to scroll onto, for example, the mobile data icon. The icons look like they belong on a child's phone... absolutely hate it. Seriously thinking of moving to a different phone soon.

Yes to all of this. I hate the new battery icon in the right corner. I hate that I can't have the clock widget I've always used as they've taken it away. My dad has the same phone, now he's finding it so much harder to use. I've had to try and set it up as best I can for him but he's said the same as you. Think he's getting a Pixel next because of this (still never gonna be desperate enough to buy an Apple product lol)

Yes to this as well, the alarm icon being missing really annoys me. Yes we can switch to the old pull down but I hate the layout.

You'll get it eventually. It's being rolled out to all the newer phones by region and network i think. I forced my update as my mild OCD makes me check for updates all the time lol
